Crazy day. For being my day off I sure worked a lot. Dance Boutique, meeting with a dance family, Dance Boutique (again), picked up team t-shirts from screen printer, went to Justice to get Hip Hop uniforms, got make up and flash drive for tomorrows competition performance. *sigh* long day.
We did have a fun night though (well actually, all those things mentioned above are actually when I'm in my full glory but it was still work). Anyways, we had to go into Seattle so Matt could work for about an hour in the office and I sat in the amazing lobby and read "Water For Elephants" on my Kindle. After, we went to my favorite store...yup--Anthropologie! I could seriously walk around in there for a good 2 hours (tonight I only got about 30 minutes because I felt bad that I knew Matt was bored)
{This is what Matt does while I wander around...this was right before he whipped out his iPhone}
{I want.}
{I want.}
{wrapping paper}
{I want. I'll take the whole shelf actually. Matt laughed when I said I would like to get these spools as Christmas gifts. But seriously, best present ever. It was just $12 for the whole spool...or $8, I can't remember}
{Left empty handed, as I do 9 out of 10 times I go in. Matt was annoyed that I wanted him to take a picture of me like this lol I kept saying "please...for the blog!" ha! I embarrassed him because there were people sitting right next to us looking at us funny. I really didn't care.}
And a few randoms photos...
Here is Cogsy being an adorable little stinky pants. He basically looks like this every second of the day. He's so lazy and then gets these crazy speed bursts and then crashes again. It's so funny and cute. Sometimes I just want to squeeze him. {I try but he doesn't like it much, ha}. He is currently passed out up against my leg as close to me as he can possibly get without being on my lap {I kicked him off so I could type}
I ate this salad for lunch like 4 x's this week. Yum!
Autumn Chopped Salad (inspired from Pinterest)
Lettuce, Dried Cranberries, Feta, Chopped Pecans, Sweet Onion Poppyseed Dressing, Pears
{Matt did not think it was so yum lol}
Mmmmmmm....I did, more for me!
I'm super excited about my day tomorrow!
My girls have their first performance tomorrow. One of my camp staffers is the captain of one of our local high school's drill team. Their team is hosting a high school drill competition and asked if my girls would perform during intermission. My girls are K-8th grade so they'll just be adorable and entertaining. Such cuties! I'm so excited for them. I got them make up and am going to glam them up so they can really feel what competition is like. Yay. Matt's excited to wear his team shirt (hehe, kind of). My in-laws are coming to watch and I'm so excited about that. Time to edit some music.
Matt's playing Grand Theft Auto and it sounds like the mafia is in our apartment...awesome.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!
xoxo,
