Amigos.

Wednesdays are by far our favorite night of the week. Wednesdays are a hard teaching day for me because I have 5 classes and they just get harder (more intense) as the day goes on...2-3's, 3-5's, 4-6's, Musical Theater and ends with Boys Hip Hop. I love that I have something to look forward to after :)

We go to Zeek's Pizza with our wonderful friends Chris and Katie (baby Avery too!) every Wed.

I wish I had pictures from our Trivia Night dates but we're always talking and having so much fun that I never even think to pull out the camera until I get home and want to write about it. 

We've never won, we've never came close, but it is just so much fun!

I think I maybe answer 1 question out of the 40/night...(sometimes more). Katie and I talk the whole time and chime in to the answers here and there but Matt and Chris really get into it :) I love it so much. I love being with them so much! I feel super super lucky we have them. 

I love that me and Katie are so close, but that Matt and Chris have a blast together too. The other night we went over there and Katie and I were hanging out with Avery in the nursery for a good hour while Matt and Chris sat in the living room cracking up watching YouTube videos :) 

I love that Matt has found a good friend, too. The other night I was being a whiny pants and said to Matt, "We don't have anything coming up to look forward to," (I meant vacation-wise). His response..."Well I do, I look forward to Zeek's every week." Hehe I agreed, being with Chris and Katie is always something to look forward to :) Oh oops, and Avery, can't forget the little cutie pants who was making the cutest little faces all through dinner tonight, hehe.

Little Miss Avery

Just 2 more months until we get to start hanging out with this little cutie patootie 3 days a week!

Yes, I'll be a busy lady. But, Chris & Katie are totally 100% okay with me taking care of Avery while taking care of business. Just acting how I would if we had our own baby. Avery will play next to me while I'm emailing parents or making up dances. Avery is going to learn how to choose recital costumes and find the best deals at Target. We'll go grocery shopping together and take Cogs Wogs for walks.  We'll go visit Mommy at work to go for lunch break walks and Starbucks.  Soon she'll be able to dance along with me too : ) And I am going to whip out all the children's books I buy and then stash away for "one day". Yay!!  

Avery slept through her first Zeek's Trivia Night with Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Matt & Auntie Chelsea ; )

She was super good luck and we placed for the first time since we started going Wednesday nights in September. Serious good luck. Hopefully that sticks so we can win and get some amazing tickets to a Mariners Game. 

I am super excited about watching little Miss Avery. I love her so much already!

She's 1 month old today...(Yay Avery!) and she's an amazing baby.  

I will not be Avery's nanny, just her "Auntie" who she gets to hang out with a lot. 

I feel so lucky that I get to spend that much time with her!! She's such a little button! 

We love Chris and Katie and I love that we get to be such a big part of Avery's life.

Matt's really excited for her to be around. Who wouldn't be, she's so dang cute! Cogsy is really excited too, he just doesn't know it yet. They're going to be great buddies. 

We're going to watch Avery from the last week of March until I start summer camps in June. Then we'll see how things feel and probably start back up in September. We're not setting that definitely yet, we're just going to take it one day at a time : )

It would be so fun if Katie and I are pregnant at the same time when they have another baby :)

Sunday Recap

We had a really nice week. I can't believe I barely took any pictures. Wednesday we both had terribly busy/stressful days. Wednesdays are my hard day {teach 2-3's, nanny, teach 4-6's--poms--boys hip hop} and Matt had craziness at work, and I mean up until 3am the night before and awake at 6am kind of craziness...yuck! We did get to end our day with our weekly Trivia Night at Zeek's with Chris & Katie. We love spending time with them and have so much fun at Trivia {our team, the Radar Runners, stink } but it's not about that : )  

Thursday was a lot less stressful for both of us. Matt had a normal day and I just coached at night. Following coaching I had my first team parent meeting {it was a milestone in my book}. It was a huge success. Thank goodness I have non "Dance Moms" moms...well, so far ; ) They did get me with a few on the spot questions that I felt my face flush as I struggled for a good answer, but I pulled through and they are all very happy mom's...and dad's! I have my future National Champions here. Everyday, even my 5 and 6 year olds are blowing me away...{flat splits, turns, leg holds [holding their leg to their nose], etc.} Whoa!

Friday night we went and visited Haliam and the kids! We ordered Zeek's {can't ever have enough Zeek's lol} and just had a nice night hanging out with them. I got to put Maclin to bed with Haley and being able to give him good night hugs and kisses was the best! *sigh* I miss them. SuzyLou was running all over the place in her new twinkle toes light up shoes...it was hilarious. And Miss Charlie was as adorable as ever...{she's really getting tall}. It was perfect.

But seriously...where has the time gone? Look how little they were almost 3 years ago when I met them! {makes me sad} {but the happiest person ever when we come over and am greeted with them clinging to my legs! Best. thing. ever!}

 Anyways...

Yesterday was a football day for Matt and I taught until 1pm. Last night we went to Red Robin for dinner and splurged and got beers :) then walked over to see Moneyball! Best movie I've seen in a long time, I definitely recommend it. 

Today is awesome. Woke up at 10:30. Matt made eggs and toast and I made myself pumpkin pancakes and tripled the batter so I have some for the whole week...score. Now I'm just reading blogs and having a cup of coffee.

Smarty Pants Wednesdays

Matt and I have been so blessed with good friends here in Washington. Last week and again tonight, we went to Trivia Night at Zeek's Pizza with our friends Chris & Katie. We had so much fun and are excited that it is our new Wednesday night ritual. We left tonight laughing our butts off after Matt and Chris ran down the Issaquah Highlands hill "Radar Running." Probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen. (Running down the HUGE hill as fast as they could to see what the speed limit radar picked them up at.) I love my husband...I love our friends. I wish I had a picture to post, maybe we can take one next Wednesday.

P.S. I stink at Trivia. I just like having a night out with our friends.
