KONY 2012: Help Save the Children!

Help stop Joseph Kony from doing awful things to children!
He is abducting them and making them his army. Over 33,000 children in Uganda have been taken by him. They are forced to kill their parents, mutilate and rape.
Children...little children.
I think about how old my dance kids are and am sitting her bawling thinking about how young and scared these children in Uganda are. I want to do all I can to help! One of my dreams is to one day adopt a child, to save a child. I want to go there now and just hold them and tell them it will be okay, that there are so many people here who want to help them. This man is awful. It literally breaks my heart. I am praying so hard for them. Knowing that this is real. It's really happening right now. There are children right now hurting. It makes me just so so sad.

I bought the kit and signed the pledge. The kit comes with a t-shirt, two bracelets, posters, stickers and buttons. The goal is to spread the word about Joseph Kony so these children are no longer invisible. Our government will help the Uganda army arrest him when they see all of us wanting to help him. I'm not usually one to protest or do things like this. This one is really hitting me hard though. These poor children. It's so so so so sad!

Help stop Joseph Kony!
I have made my blog public again just for a while to help with this. I have 60 followers. If each of you sign the pledge it will help so much. A little goes a long way!!

Save these children!

150 Days!

This past weekend at the Twin's party, with everyone talking about their trip to Disneyland in May, Matt and I got bit by the Disney Bug. Wait...we always have the Disney Bug but we want to go NOW. Like we wish we were there yesterday so when we woke up today we would be at the Anabella getting ready to go to Disneyland! The air crisp with butterflies in our tummies because we were so excited. *sigh*...I can feel it now!

We've had our trip planned for August for a while now because it is in between camps for me. I purposely did not schedule camps that week so we could go to Disneyland. Last month we were sad and thought we were going to have to cancel...NOPE! :) Trip back on! We are so so excited!!!

Just 150 more days! That will go fast, right?

EEeeee!! So excited! 150 more days until we get to be this excited again :)

{this was me saying "Matt take a picture of how excited I am going in for the first time!!"} ha!

{we were exhausted but full of adrenaline!}

I want TODAY to be 150 days from now so we can be there!

....I should be getting ready. Class starts in 50 minutes and I still have a towel on my head. :)
Have a good day everyone, think happy thoughts!

Happy Birthday Caitlin & Quenton!

Today is our niece and nephew's First Birthday!
My Sister-in-Law, Megan, did an incredible job putting together their "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" birthday party. She stayed up until 6:30am making sure it was perfect...and it was :) All of the little details were so great matching the book. The cakes she made were amazing! Caitlin & Quenton (and Clare) all had a great day and I'm sure they will appreciate it when they are older and look back at the pictures of what she did.

I can't believe these two stinkers are already one! It's so much fun being an Auntie. I got to play with them all day and loved every second of it :) We haven't seen them since Christmas so we really missed them. 2 weekends from now we'll have Clare's 3rd Birthday to attend and I already can't wait to see how Megan does that one! :) "Snow White" theme...it's going to be so cute!

Here are lots of pictures from the day. Man am I loving my new phone!

We had such a nice day. It was great to see them and spend time with the family. We missed Mel & Clint so hopefully we'll see them soon too :)

Pinterest Friday!

I barely pinned anything at all this week.
We've been insanely busy.
We started our Preschool Partner Program this week...hired a new instructor and got our 3rd preschool.
Exciting stuff!

Anyways...with this new venture comes our dreams becoming closer to becoming reality. I've been looking at Redfin a ton again. When we buy, one of the main things we want is our laundry to be upstairs. Then...I am going to do this. I love the color of the doors too. These remind me of our wedding.

Matt really likes plain walls with bold colors. It's growing on me. This picture is beautiful. I love the white kitchen with the bold chairs. And that rug!!!

*sigh*

With those barn doors... love!

I have the hardest time remembering measurement stuff. This is such a great idea.

This week has shown me a new light. It has shown me that I can dream and plan all I want but sometimes new plans happen. Good plans happen. Good things happen that will help those other dreams be even better one day. I love this picture below. It would be so much more amazing with Matt though if he was stress free...that's what I want for him.

And, this is how I have felt for the past 8 weeks...this quarter has been insane (in the best way!)
Tomorrow, I have another meeting with another preschool. Crossing my fingers :) We're also going to see The Lorax! Yay!!!
Have a good weekend everyone :)
