Thankful.

Matt and I have been blessed with some pretty unbelievable helpful people here in Washington.
We are very thankful that we have had friends here who have helped us get on our feet.

Just recently one of my dance mom/friends had posted on Facebook that she had a leather couch and recliner that they were getting rid of and to message her if interested. We bought our couch for $300 from World Market and it was supposed to be very temporary...well it's been 2 1/2 years now and it is still the only seating we have in our apartment. It's just never our priority to get new furniture. So...I messaged her and she said we could have them for free! I can not believe how kind that is. Her husband and daughter (who has been in my dance classes since the very first day) just brought them over. Which, was also the nicest thing ever because this couch is a beast! Man is it heavy! I was teasing Matt while they were moving it in saying, "Oh c'mon it can't be that heavy!" Well...it is! (I apologized). Just really nice of them to give them to us. We are very very thankful.

{Notice the bouncy seat in the background? Matt assembled that today because next Monday we start watching the little cutie pants, Avery!}

Cogsy jumped right up and I was like "Noo!!" but then Matt was like, "Chelsea...really? They have a pug too AND 3 kids...it's OK" Ha..oh yeah :) The couch and chair are really in such good shape. We are so so happy. Matt's pumped to finally have a recliner and I am currently lounging on one of the couch recliners. Fancy Fancy :)

I'm waiting for Matt to be done getting ready and then we're heading to Olympia for a St. Patrick's Day dinner and sleepover with Matt's family and then our niece Clare's 3rd Birthday tomorrow :)

Have a great weekend everyone!!

THE best dream.

Last night I had the best dream of my entire life and today it's as clear as it was when I dreamt it sleeping last night. I cannot stop thinking about it because it felt so real and I was so happy. I woke up in the middle of the night after it and wanted so badly to fall asleep and dream it again (I then had a different dream). But, woke up still remembering that one so vividly.

I just have to write about it because it was just so so awesome!

The dream was Matt and I were in "our" house, yes, house, and had lots of people over. I do not know who the people were, but I do know that the house was not a new house but we were very proud of it that it was ours. The kitchen was 70's but we didn't mind. (In real life we would mind, I think.) The only emotion I had throughout the whole dream was feeling complete and feeling completely happy.

That happy over a house you may ask?...

I was in the kitchen with Matt while we had all of those people were over and I was holding a baby.
It was OUR baby. I didn't have the normal best feeling in the world feeling I always have holding babies. It was better than that. It was really the best feeling I've ever known. (I do realize I didn't technically feel it because it was a dream). I woke up remembering everything! I was holding her upright so her head was on my shoulder. Yes, it was a she. I was calling her by her real name too. The name that Matt and I know if we ever have a girl will be the name. This name will stay secret until she is born one day, if we ever have a girl. It was just so so awesome. I felt whole. I loved Matt different too.

I really remember all of this. It was so vivid. I came into dance today and told my dance moms about it and they all said, "Yep, you're pregnant"! Ha! NO I'm not. I know that one for sure.

I was just telling Matt yesterday that I'm really enjoying the way things are right now.
It was just so real of a dream. Weird real. Like I was living it. It was like a glimpse into the future (I hope we don't have a 70's kitchen though). Ha.
I remember in the dream saying to Matt, "We did it, our baby was born in the house she'll grow up in." It was so so real!

Hmmm...Maybe we really can do it. Makes me want to work really hard today. Even harder than I already am. Which means...I need to stop writing this blog (I am eating lunch which means this break is allowed).
I want to save save save so we can have a real home together and start our family.

EEeeee I'm so excited now :) Oh, and she was beautiful and had dark hair like I did when I was a baby which is strange because I usually picture our kids looking like Matt...I can still see her :)
Have a good day everyone!

Another Getaway!

Yay! My birthday is next month and Matt and I just booked a getaway to Seabrook, WA!
We have been wanting to go for a long time now and to me it seems like the perfect birthday weekend.
Our adorable little cottage comes with 2 cruisers for us to ride all around and ride to the beach and it even has kites for us to use (we're going to bring our own though, Matt says)! Matt's pumped because there is wi-fi and a blu ray player :) It's so stinkin' cute and Cogsy Wogsy gets to join us! He's excited too.

We're going Thursday the 19th (my birthday) through Sunday the 22nd. I'll be TWENTY FOUR!
4 days of walks on the beach, bbq-ing, kite flying, bike riding, game playing, book reading and movie watching! Yay! So freakin' excited!!!!

Here are the pictures of our adorable little beach cottage :)

Oh so beachy :)
I love that we're finally in a place to go on all these great little getaways. Next I want to save for San Francisco! I told Matt we could go to San Francisco for my birthday but he wants to wait so we save and buy our car first...what a smart and patient guy :) I'm super thrilled about Seabrook though!!

And the week before, April 9-12, I'll be in WI visiting my family while my siblings and I are on Spring Break. What fun!

Well, I'm off to go teach some little ones how to dance :)
I'm still sick so I have a sub for my last two classes today, thank God!
I just get to teach 2 and then come home and cuddle with my even more sick hubby.

Checking lots of things off of that list...but, the more I check off, the more I want to do and the more I want to keep waiting :) I'm having so much fun with Matt. I like it this way, just the two of us (three of us, sorry Cogsy)...at least for the time being :)

Hope everyone's having a great day!

Busy Busy Busy

I have been slacking on the blog. We haven't been up to anything other than being crazy busy with work and school...and we're both really sick. Not fun.

Work has been really exciting lately! I hired another teacher today that will be teaching at one of our preschools, taking over classes that I had been teaching. Tomorrow will be my last day teaching there. So now on Tuesdays instead of teaching 6 classes, I'll just have 4. Yay! She came with me to class this morning and she was great! The kids were giving her hugs when they left and I kept saying, "Hellooo, what about Miss Chelsea?!" Ha. That's exactly what we want though. I was sad for a second until I realized I made a great hiring decision :)

Here's a picture that one of my dance mom/friends snapped today during class :) What she didn't know until after class was that as she was taking pictures outside of the room, her daughter had just said to me, "Miss Chelsea, I love you." :) It was so cute and random. I love moments like that while I'm teaching.

I've been working super crazy hard lately. It's all so worth it to me. We now have 4 preschools that we're partnering with, I have 2 more meetings this week and 2 meetings waiting to be scheduled. I also met with another nearby community center and will be partnering with them beginning this fall. I of course won't be the teacher because I want to always be the one teaching at our current center, but I can't wait to find the perfect staff member for that job :) Big things are happening. My goal was to get 7 preschools by the end of this month and if we get the ones I have meetings with... we'll have 8 by the end of the week plus the new community center.

I made 50 tutus this weekend for our recital on the 23rd :) I'm so sick of seeing tutus right now. I still have a few more classes of tutus to make but I'm glad I cranked all of those out, even though I feel like crap today. I had to cancel team practice tonight because I'm so sick. I have a sub for 2 of my 6 classes tomorrow though so that's good.

--------------------------------in other news-------------------------------

*Matt's almost done with this quarter of school and is ending it with the highest grade in his math class again, I'm so so proud of him. He's doing well in his last English class too and is glad that he'll never have to take and English class again. He hates writing.

*We're excited because I saw on Facebook that one of my dance families/friends is giving away a couch and recliner and we are getting them :) The couch is leather and has recliners on both ends... we can't wait to finally be comfortable and have plenty of seating to have family and friends over! We're so thankful.

That's all for now :)
